(BURLINGTON)— The Washington State Patrol says they will be testing aspiring trooper candidates next month in Burlington.

Trooper Keith Leary says they will be conducting the testing this Saturday morning, March 2^nd, at Burlington-Edison High School in an effort to fill 134 open trooper positions.

Leary says phase one of the test, which consists of two written tests and a physical fitness test, starts at 7:30 a.m. Saturday morning.

The State Patrol is seeking to fill its next academy class, which is scheduled for this summer.
