The Anacortes School Board will anounce the district’s new superintenedent next week

(ANACORTES)— The Anacortes School Board has narrowed its list of candidates to replace retiring Superintendent Chris Borgen to three people.

David Anderson, the current assistant superintendent of the Mount Vernon School District; Ann Johnson, the director of elementary education in the Mukilteo School District; and Mark Wenzel, the superintendent of the Methow Valley School District, will have site visits and final interviews next Monday through Wednesday, March 4th through the 6th.

The public is invited to community question and answer sessions with the finalists, which will take place Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday next week at the Island View Elementary School theater from 7 p.m. to 8 o’clock each night.

The Anacortes School Board is scheduled to review the finalists March 7th and make an announcement at a special 6:15 p.m. meeting that night.
