(ISLAND COUNTY)- Two were sent to the hospital after a two car crash on Whidbey Island Wednesday morning.

The accident occurred on West Beach Rd. at Evendown Way when a Ford Flex driven by a 30-year-old Oak Harbor man crossed the center line and hit a Nissan 2SX driven by a 20-year-old Spanaway woman head-on.

Both drivers were taken with injuries to Island Hospital in Anacortes.  Charges are pending.
